FWIW...I bought one this summer and then returned it a few days later.

It's a great idea on paper, but the Bestop one is executed poorly.

The Mopar one is nice, but they have no addressed the design to work with the 2010 and newer softop hardware.

At this time the 2010+ Mopar Sunrider is still the best bet IMHO, as it just works, has many config options, and doesn't have the Gremlins the others have.

Cheers

.... looks like you may have an 09... get the Mopar one that tucks into the door surrounds. More $$, but so worth it.

the current version of the bestop bikini can be installed onto the factory door surrounds too but, it's kind of a pain to do. i have one and i like it for what it is and does but yeah, it could have been made a bit better.

A bit? Only reason I bought the bestop one was because it was the only one I knee about. If I had seen more, I would have bought differently. I'm actually considering switching over to the Mopar one.

Problems I have: it was made for use with both door surrounds and with. So the Velcro straps get in the way letting water drip down them, the "folds" by the windshield and sound bar create a huge amount of wind noise and it flaps ... A lot. It has a sound bar attachment, but it doesn't help at all. And if course, bestop doesn't make a wind jammer to compliment it.

Default Spiderweb

I used the spiderweb.
The only thing I learned was the bungie tie down tore my back pad. So now I know I need to put some kind of pad around it.

Default Mopar!

I had the Bestop bikini, within the first week two of the Velcro straps tore off while driving around. The top made horrible flapping movements and noise at any speed. You also have to purchase one of header attaching bars from be stop separately too, which is also kind of cheap.

Purchased the Mopar sun rider (the one used without door surrounds) from the dealer. Better material, better construction, comes with a header bar attached, still just a couple bucks more than the Bestop, but had I just purchased the Mopar in the first place.........well you get the idea.

and that's the part that i don't get. to the best of my knowledge, bestop makes tops for chrysler and they are in fact a better product. i don't know, i may have to break down and get a mopar one too

I have the Bestop bikini top. If you use your soft top rails it works perfect. It did for mine. I think the big issue is the velcro straps (which I cut off the sides). I like mine. I just need a duster cover now. Pavement ends or Bestop? Thoughts?

The cheap straps on my bestop tore off the first time I used it. Could've been made better. The whole time I was installing I kept asking, why did they do such a shitty job on this then I just fixed it the best I could and enjoyed what I had.
I remember one of the front straps had only a small bit of the corner stiched in. It broke as soon as I pulled it.
