It appears that the top can be installed on a four door as is, but a longer one might be useful. I have the SunBonnet and love riding with it. But this is so much more convenient--and leaves the front handles that I've added to the roll bar accessible. I've also dropped then a line asking how much for the four door (if it's a different length).
Thanks for the replies folks. Now on that sun bonnet, how easy is it to open it to the sky and then recover yourself for shade or rain protection? I've been doing that with the stock top, but it's areal pain to access the rear with the top down and it does take some time and effort to put the top up. Offroad Heroes makes one that rolls up, but there is some question as to the practices of that particular business. PLEASE let's not go into it in this thread, we just want to talk alternative bikini top alternatives here.

Don't forget the Trektop and the Convert-A-Top.
I like that the Spidertop can be left on under the hard/soft top.
I think I'll be making my own version of the Convert-A-Top once the summer weather breaks.
If you mean that you're out for a spin and you decide to remove or install the top--well, I haven't ever done that. I mean, you can and it doesn't take all of that long--probably five minutes (if there are two of you), or ten if by yourself. You'll also need a couple tools (well, maybe not--if you leave the bolted on brackets in place you won't have to fuss with tools and you'll shave a minute a two). Basically, you remove the header, then you undo the various straps around the roll bar and under the Sun Bonnet--I'm thinking there's about eight--then you undo the two large Velcroed panels around the front of the roll bar. Roll up the assembly, which is about five feet long (it cannot fold shorter because of the built-in header bar) and eight inches in diameter, and find a place to stuff it in the Jeep. I don't know--probably not so difficult.
