I actually kept the old bushings when I installed my new shocks. You never know when your going to need spare parts. Or I like to offer out stuff at Jeep club meetings. Next meet and greet I'm going to bring a pelican case of parts. You never know someone might need something I have.

There would be no way. What am I doing wrong?
Make sure the lower bushing head is properly aligned inside the mounting hole, place the washer and nut to temporarily secure the shock (make sure the lower bushing head does not pop out of the mounting hole). Lower the Jeep back on the ground remove the nut and washer place upper bushing and washer you should have enough tread to start the nut.

I finally got them in guys. Thanks for all your help. I ended up using the stock bushings and taking off the boot holder piece. Each one took about 15 minutes after that. Everything is in now and looks great. I'll post up some pictures tomorrow! Thanks again everyone. Your info helped a ton.

I had the same problem on mine. Just re-used the old bushings. 15,000 miles so far. No issues.

Flip the cups so they cup the bushings. But yea the stock bushings will work out fine.
