BL + 35's (trying to get an idea)
I know that there is a bunch of random posts with photos here and there of bodylifted JK's. But they are all over the place and 95% of the posts are talk about why the are good or why they are bad...
I am requesting we keep this thread PICTURES MOSTLY!!
If you have something to contribute from personal experiance on a JK then please do so as well but acompany it with pictures of bodylifts on JK's.... Looking for 1'' and 2'' and anything in between...
Please include Bodylift hight - suspension lift hight if any, wheel sizes, and comments along with your PICTUREs...
Please dont post opinons and ideas if you dont have pictures to go with it unless its actually going to be worth while to say... aka... "Bodylifts are stupid go with a suspension lift you will love them they are soo much better" (yes I dooo know this and I do have a suspension lift currently I just need to get some more clearance and I know they are better but I DO NOT want to go bigger suspension lift for A TON of reasons) please hold back from posting along with "the gap looks stupid" unless you have pictures of why the gap and its personal experiance that you have... and didnt like on your OWN JK.
Thanks
The point is I am trying to get an idea if a 2'' bodylift will give me the clearance on the ruby rail that I need without having to cut it...
as of right now my 35's are mashing on my rails...

The link below is a thread I started showing my before and after pics of my body lift on my old JK. I had a 3" suspension lift that was literally 3" (not more like some lifts). I added a PA 1" BL simply because I wanted a little more clearance and the Jeep to be a little taller. Hope that helps and keeps on topic with your request.
Specs on my old JK from the link below....
3" BDS suspension lift
1" PA body lift
17x9 wheels with 4.5" of backspacing
35x12.50 Toyo tires

thanks that def helps some...
I have a new rear bumper/carrier so that wont be as much of an issue and its all black so it wont be sooo noticeable either... I am worried that the framerails wont work but they are stock and body moutned so they will actually rise up with the rails and thats what I need to clear the35''s tire...
I think I can deal with the 2'' gap and to be honest i think its going to be a good setup... now I just need to wait and plan it out.
