Maybe over kill, but I very lightly sanded mine, primed with self etching primer and then sprayed two heavy coats of bedliner on it.

Agreed with them! Mine has about a year the grill mesh has a little chips from rocks but it will be easy to touch up

Isn't self etching primer suppose to "etch" into metal? I'm not knocking, I used it on mine too, but later thought..why did I use self etching primer on plastic? Either way, it won't hurt..mine has held up great for 2 yrs counting.

I only dances my grille hardest part. But after just sprayed Bedliner no primer or anything just sanded and cleaned really good and I used a whole can of bedliner but you can do it with less than that. Start off with really really light coats until it gets thick enough. Ohh and don't spray to much on one spot because it will look like it has oil like kinda shinny.

Thanks for all the replies. I was speaking with a co-worker and realized that he has a cousin that works at a Line-X place down the street. I'm hoping to get a special "wink-wink" price on them doing my grill...Stay tuned
