Line-X won't guarantee their white line-x. They can't add as much uv protectant to it so it doesn't fade or breakdown. I wanted white originally, but they said that a lot of the white they do turn off white to orange after time. They said 50% of them do, I'm not willing to take the chance on it turning orange. So I figured black was the next best option.

I've never heard of raptor liner, I'll look into it. I'm going to get it professionally done because I'm sure I'd screw it up one way or another and I can yell at myself and make myself do it again for free if I do screw it up. Plus I can't warranty myself.

Thanks for all the input. I got notice from the insurance company today with enough money to do my entire jeep in line-x with minimal out of pocket expenses. Considering now I won't have to worry about hail anymore unless its bigger than golf ball size it's a worthwhile venture.

Has anybody figured out where to get a new hood seal for the top of the grill? Mine got ruined when i took it off to paint the grill. I wouldnt worry about putting it back on but my hood lifts a whole lot more in the wind now.

Probably either quadretec or the dealership would be the best bet. Or a junkyard might have a used one

I raptor lined the bumpers/grill on my 12. I will do the same to my 2014 when I figure out what bumpers I'm going to go with.

What's your prep work? I plastic dipped mine but the bed liner sounds better. I have scratches and gouges. My grill ate a Hi-lift one day during some sketchy operations.

I just cleaned mine really well, then scuffed up the OEM paint with one of those red scotch brite pads.
