Default blown bilsteins

ok, so I went into the garage tonight and noticed some spots on the cement under the left rear shock (bilstein 5100). The shock is all black and oily at the bottom. I loosened the rubber boot and there is a light stream of clear liquid running down the shaft . the shocks have been on for 36000 miles . can anyone suggest some shocks that are better then these but not 200$ each. I have a 3.5 "AEV lift but want to change to the 4.5" springs and bump stops so I need shocks that will work with both heights. HELP!!!!!!!!!! asap cause I'm going to jeep week in 1 1/2 weeks

Pretty sure billstien has a lifetime warranty. I think you can send them in for new or rebuilt but that might take a while and you need them in a week and a half. Might be cutting it close. But it's worth a try.

same here, replaced under lifetime warranty If you had a shop install your lift bring it back to them and have them order the shocks so your jeep isn't laid up

Yes they do have a warranty but they want you to return the ones you have that are bad before you get the new ones.
