Default Body Armor Bumper/Tire Carrier

Anyone here have one? They're quite cheap for their features, but don't know about the quality. Also, not sure if they provide much corner protection.

Kind of torn between this one and the Smittybilt right now.

I have a Body Armor with Tire Carrier. I bought one about 2 years ago and hung jerry cans, hi-lift jack and a 35" Toyo on it. Problem was that it started to sag with all of the weight and while out wheeling in southern utah, the swing arm bent bad to where it cracked the weld where the swing arm mounts to the bumper. I was able to get them to warranty me a new bumper, but now I do not run jerry cans or hi-jack, avoiding the need to extended the tire mount out and give it more leverage to bend.

If they would have given me my money back, I would have bought a AEV or expeditionOne rear bumper that has an integrated arm that works and opens with the rear gate of the jeep. Check them out. Also JP magazine this month has an article this month on rear bumpers.

Default body armor rear bumper

I have one on my 2007 rubicon unlimited and think it is great. I was rear ended by a 2006 bmw and only suffered a few scratches and bent the jerry can. There was about 8000 dollars of damage on the bmw. I talked to body armor abour running a 37 inch tire and he said should be no problem. Going to have coilovers installed by offroad evolutin and mel said he would fix it if he thought he needed to to survive a 37 inch tire.
