body lift question

Default body lift question

I am planning on installing a 2.5 bb and a 1" inch body lift on my 08 unlimited would that cause any issues with my driveshafts?? also does any one have any pics of this same type of setup??? thanks

the body lift will simply raise your jeep's body up off the frame an inch. this will not effect your driveshafts or anything. if you have a 6-speed, you will have to trim the inner boot a bit in order to clear 2nd, 4th, 6th and R

sorry, i don't have any with the 1" BL but here are a few shots of just a 2.5" BB with 35's. i ran this setup for a while and with the exception of some rubbing at a full flex, it worked out well. with a 1"BL you imagine that you will have just a bit more room than what you see here.

Most of my pics are with this set-up. Got me easily through the Rubicon and some hard trails in Moab with 35s under me. Oh, and NO rubbing at full flex and the Toyos are a full 35" tire.

listen to kidjeep. i've been wheeling with him on multiple occasions and i am simply astounded at what can be done with this setup.

Mine with RE2inBB and 1inBL (the re kit had 2.5 spacer in frt and 1.75 in rear)

Is the pinch-seam visible (or other asthetic considerations) w/1" BL?
