I have a 2.5'' teraflex coil lift and wanted some more room..should i go with a body lift or spacers? advantages/disadvantages of each? If i raise it is it going to effect my driveshafts at all?

BL - no
Easiest solution for more room is to just chop the flares or go to flats. Spacers will affect caster, axles centering, brake lines, links, steering geometry, etc. Body lifts look like, well, body lifts. Probably the better, and cheaper, route to take if you don't want to chop.
Body lifts are the cheapest way to make it look lifted. But anybody can spot a body lift a mile away and they don’t look cool. They are a pain with no redeeming quality. Sorry if I was too harsh.

I would say BL myself, BL does not look that bad on a JK especially if you have aftermarket bumpers ETC. One thing to consider is they are both around the same cost, 150 bucks or so. With the spacers you may have to get longer shocks, brakes lines, etc. Like nthinuf said it will affect caster, axles centering, links, steering geometry, etc. BL is very very easy to install. I bought the performance accessories 1" and it went very smooth.

I run a body lift with no problems. The only thing you may have is a Gap near your bumpers. I do not run stock bumpers so the dealer didnt even notice i had a bodylift. They replace my inner and outer shift boot under warranty. :P(with a 1" i did not have to trim my shift boots"

More room for what?
If your tires are rubbing or your getting bigger tires urethane bump stops might be a cheap and easy fix.
OldManEmu makes nice heavy duty stops for JK's. Fender trimming is another option.
There's a great BL write up on the forum home page.
If you go with spring spacers check your front and rear brake lines and e-brake cables at full droop. I had to replace mine with +4" lines and re-locate the ebake cable mount.
