i read up on it:
all info gathered from website
its a catalyst, like the catalytic converter for exhaust. meant to 'recondition' fuel from transportation and storage losses.
company claims it raises octane to next highest rating. 87 -> 89 89 ->91 etc.
lifespan of catalyst: 250,000 operating miles or 5,000 operating hours depending on the engine
typically average 1-2.5 mpg increase.
reduced emissions

kit cost: $195.95 (msrp?)

IMO:
sounds interesting. would be like buying higher grade gas at the lower grade cost. it would be a good buy if claims are validated on a bone stock wrangler 3.8L to eliminate variables. im kinda skeptical about the mpg gains, im unaware if buying high octane gas equates to better mpg

Ok, I have just topped off, and will use my normal empty tank to full tank number of gallons as a reference. I have a stock 2dr X, but I have the larger of the two stock wheels. Starting tomorrow i will keep tabs on the mpg's on the dash and compare them to math I do when I fill up next. As stated I drive about 100 miles a day, both highway and city. Lets see if it really works, I want everyone to know I dont sell, work for, or have anything to do with Fitch Fuel Catalyst, just a jk owner who cant afford gas.

There has been catalysts around for years, not just this decade. They should warranty savings. Stripping that bad nasty old oxygen from the fuel was a real kicker. I wonder why they think that nitrous oxide gas is used for a performance enhancer? Hint, add oxygen?

Have you tried the magnetic trick? You know, where they strap magnets on the fuel line to help line up the molecules for increased performance and MPG.

Keep your top on, hard top preferred to increase the MPG, tires at proper inflation, don't make left turns, don't idle too long while getting gas or at a signal light, if auto put in nuetral at long lights. Draft big wheelers (trucks) and all the other usual tricks.

Otherwise, save wear and tear on the jeep and buy a moped or something for work.

Yes, but I bet you got some nice HP increase with that CAI like I did.

i think so, or it's all in my mind
my plan is to install the Borla cat-back tomorrow and Unichip. going to a new meet & greet here in metro detroit with some fellow JK'ers, so i want the Mudboss to look awesome
i would be soooooo happy if i got over 20 MPG. if i hit 26 MPG, i'd buy another JK just so i could go to the gas station twice as much

Has anyone on here tried an HHO generator for their Jks? I'm interested in seeing the real results from some board members.
