At $629 MSRP, it's pricey, but I'll skip a lift and just go for the exhaust. I used to have a Borla on my TJ and liked it.

Is the Magnaflow Stainless or aluminized? That could be the difference.
But I had a Borla for my YJ and paid only $300.

$563 at Quadratec. http://www.quadratec.com/sb/2007_jee...es/Exhaust.htm

So $563 plus shipping for the Borla System (304 stainless) 2 door, through Quadratec.
And $476 free shipping for the Magnaflow 2 door.
Then $379 plus shipping for the Gibson System (409 pipe, 304 stainless muffler) 2 door, through Quadratec.

So many choices.

Lightbulb $600 for exhaust!!???

Guys, just pick whatever muffler you want and take it down to your local exhaust shop. Let them install, add pipes if needed, and use an exit angle you want.

My Magnaflow is on its way, single inlet, duel outlet type for Camaros/Firebirds to replace my stock muffler. Muffler itself is only $85, shipping is free (through summit racing or Jegs) and my local muffler shop (Worth Exhaust) is installing for $70, plus I am getting two chrome tips for $15 apiece.

Bang. Kickass exhaust system for only $185.

Or, you can have an exhaust shop splice your original pipe, add the muffler between the frame rails and exit any way you want. And I highly doubt it would be that much.

The JK comes from the factory with 2.5" mandrel bent pipes...which means you already have a good exhaust pipe with good diameter. Just add a good free flowing muffler of your choice. These companies offering "power boosting" insanely expensive kits are just like everybody else, bloodsucking money hungry Well, you get the picture.

Just my thoughts on this. But by all means do as ya please.

Keep us posted. I have heard a few talk about the single in dual out, but don't think anyone has tried it yet.
