Default Bought a moded JK and i have a question. please help

I bought my 2nd JK last night and it is already lifted , looks as it has been geared and also has banks ram air.
I would like to get superchip flashpaq for it and was wondering if i need to know the gears and if i do, how do i find out? the dealer was a hinda dealer and had no idea what was done to the jeep so i got a pretty great deal.

Any info will be helpful. here are some pictures

Thanks in advance!

Easy and accurate way to find your gear ratio.

SuperChips will detect the gear ratio that came from factory.
If the gearing is not stock, just put it into the programmer.

By the way, nice kooking Jeep

You can pull the differential cover it will be stamped on the ring gear. Or you can do this old trick. Jack up the rear of the jeep with the trans in neutral and put a mark on the inside of one of the tires then spin the tire by hand and count how many times the drive shaft makes a full revolution to one revolution to the tire. example the tire spins one full revolution and the drive shaft spins a little more than 4 you have 4.10 gear ratio.

So it will run it on the factory setting ? which mean i will have to know my gears to be able to tune it correctly right...? sorry if those are dumb questions... lol

And thank you so much! i love it so far. i had a 2007 2wd and i got rid of it almost 6 month ago but i missed the jeep so much i had to buy another one... good to be back for sure.

Yeh, If the gearing has been changed, the flashpaq needs to know the new gearing. Or it will not adjust your trans (if auto) shift points correctly and/or your speedo.

No dumb questions

No problem. It's always good to know your axle ratio when modding.

This may be off topic but get some longer brake lines if you disconnect your front swaybar.

Those Terraflex lower control arms flex like mad (I have them as well), you could overextend your brake lines and well... break them!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but couldn't the OP just drive his JK at 70mph and look at the rpm's and look at the graph we have from WOL to see the gear ratio?
