Default Bracing rear trackbar bracket

I'm looking to reenforce my rear trackbar bracket. Has anyone used the new brace from JKS? It says it is 7ga. steel. I'm not sure what that is in inches. Would that be strong enough for a brace? I have also looked at Curries and Teraflex's braces also. Any opinions? How about ideas for homemade braces?
Thanks and here is a link to the JKS brace.

while i have not installed one, i have no doubts that it would be plenty strong and will beef up your mount well.

Thanks WOL. Do you happen to know how thick 7ga. is. I'm guessing 1/8" or so.

about 3/16" - pretty thick stuff but even in the case of the factory mount, it's only as good as the welds
