Ok was checkin stuff out under my Jk today and noticed my brake lines are rubbing the rear sway bar linkage,I have a 4 inch superlift lift kit.....what would be a good fix? I thought about bending the lines but don't really want to eff them up

 

You can bend the metal lines, just make sure if you bend them that if/when you flex they won't rip off or cause more damage. Also don't bend them too much that the actual line will weaken or snap. Nothing worse than screwin' up your brake lines. Some people fab up some brackets to extend the factory brackets. Just some DIY stuff will fix the problem, nothing to worry about too much - YOU CAN DO ITTTTTTTTTTTT!

 

Well see I just don't wanna bend it really cause there's a spot where it's worn down pretty good not to the point where there's a hole but I would hate to break it man that'd blow

 

Sam, it's easy to bend those brake lines too far and kink them. Can you bend the bracket instead? I was able to clear my brake lines that way.

 

did you use just a pair of channel locks or something?? i was thinking bout trying that earlier just didnt know if anybody else did try it and had success but seeing that you did i think im gonna have to try it!! appreciate it man, did you end up getting your new lift on i assume??

 

Who me? Sure did.... working on getting before and after pics up this weekend.... just hard with work and my 3 month old daughter...

 

Lol no my last response was meant for Brian, and I found out the issue was the drop down bracket that was put on actually made the brakes contact the sway bar so I pretty much remove bottom half of bracket and only used top half worked like a charm lol!

 

Well shitballs now I think it might not have enough room to flex without ripping off

 

Ok so im thinking I need longer brake lines any suggestions? The original drop down brackets are a no go

 

Northridge used to have a package deal of 4... Not sure if they still do...
