Default Brake question

I would think at some point larger tires and/or heavier bumpers/accessories could affecting braking, at what point do you need to be concerned or address your braking power?

When you drive to fast.

Really though, it's pretty much just learning to slow down sooner. I run 37's on stock brakes and don't have any trouble. I would think that if I went to, say 40's I'd be inclined to move to a set-up that would allow for larger rotors.
