I spend a lot of time hauling a trailer and am looking for a little more braking power. What do yall recommend doing as far as upgrading the brakes for $900 or less. I've seen some big brake kits around $1500+ and was wondering if there were any less expensive routes to take.

 

A friend of mine installed this and said it makes a big difference when pulling his Adventure Trailer.

The other two (major) options are the do-it-yourself BR6 upgrade and the newly released Mopar kit. The Dynatrac kit looks to be the most complete.

 

Theirs used to be just the front axle, but had seen rumors they were going to make it all four. Have they? That link is broken, BTW.

Yeah, that is it. They have released the rear kit. More than sure quadratec sells it.

We are rollin 37" toyo's and this kit made a huge difference in our stopping power.

 

i just talked to Teraflex four days ago and the release of their rear kit has been pushed back to fall 2015.

 

I have power stop drilled and slotted rotors with there pads. I only roll on 35's though I like them for about 300 bucks.

 

link works for me, but no they have a kit that is a bracket to relocate the caliper further out and a larger rotor. It is much cheaper, but it might also only be for the front. Go to www.teraflex.com and hit shop then brakes and you'll find them.
