Did you break the stub shaft too?? Get a spicer joint from an auto parts store, it will be alot cheaper......

Huh that kind of sucks. It seems like there have been a few people on the board that have messed up their front axles pretty easily. I'm sorry man but I would call Tom Woods and see if he has a ujoint available for our D30 yet. His stuff is stout.

This happened to me also. The exact same scenario. I have a feeling this is the weak link in the 30's... The dealer fixed mine under warranty, no questions asked. It took about 1 week for the parts to come in, and about 2 hours to get fixed.

Not gonna be rude, but you guys need to learn your preious gens history, the u-joints are the weak link. 35s are the MAX a d30 can hold even built with alloy shafts. I try to let all the Jeep noobs understand if they use their rig its not like mall crawlers where 37s "look" cool, you need to run a tir that will let you survue offroad like a 33.

I thought these d30s still use x297 u-joints? If so they are avalible everywhere.
