broken front coil spring?

WOW I am glad it happened so close to the mount, be thankful that it did not happen in the center!

Not on a Jeep, but my sister had an Oldsmobile Alero that the front drivers side spring on the strut failed like yours. It was in the middle and it happened just as her and my mom were backing out of the garage. It could have been a lot worse. Car was about 8 years old when it happened.

It happen to a friend of mine on a BMW Z4 and after browsing on the German BMWer forum it happen not only to him but to a bush of guys. And you know what, he had to bring these to the BMW dealer a first the dealer didn't want warranty...

Just a follow up. Tera Flex replaced both front springs today. while I waited no problems no cost, Great Service. Thanks Tera Flex!!

thats awesome im glad to see they stand behind their products like that!!!!jeep dealer would have blamed it on inproper tire air pressure, or maybe inproper muffler bearing lubrication. thank god for aftermarket!!!!!!!!!!

I just saw the same problem on mine this weekend!!






I just sent those pictures to the shop where I bought the TerraFlex kit. Hope they will change it!!

Also, I also found that the back relocation bracket hit the back right shock on full compression... which is really bad!

I guess its time to hose the concrete (dried holister mud) off of mine and check the coils!!
