Default broken sway bar maybe???

ok here is the deal. i went out for a wheeling trip in saturday. we did a little rock crawling the warm up then did some pretty hard stuff. so i went threw the hard stuff no problem. we headed back into the park and did a rock climb. when i got to the top one of my friends looked at my sway bar and asked if it always looked like that. so i climbed out to take a look. what i saw i didnt like. on the driver side i looked like my link was pointing toward the front of the jeep. it is almost like it rolled down. the sway bar was now upside down. i got the tools out and put it back to the way it should be and went on my way wheeling. at the end of the day got back to the parking lot to air up. i did that and climbed in but the jeep into 2wd and hit the button on the dash to connect the sway bar again. the esp and traction control light did not turn off. it seems like the sway bar connected on the passenger side but not the driver. i dont have a picture of it i just fixed it fast. does anyone have any idea of what is going on. i am lost on this one. thanks for the help in advance.

If you have extended the front suspension travel (longer shocks, extensions, etc.) it sounds like the front sway links require additional length. If everything is stock, the shock on that side may be broken.
