Default Bugflector. Anyone have one? Pics?

Thinking about a Bugflector to help with Aero around the windshield, bugs in the summer, and even for looks on my Steel Blue. Oh yeah, and to protect the front of the hood leading edge from rock chips, which will be rusty a few years down the road.

Thanks!

Hey guys as far as front end protection , you might wanna try clearmask...I put it on mine and it keeps the paint from getting scratched or pinged from rocks...cool stuff it is a thin layer of rubber like plastic and it has to be applied with soapy water and then alcohol...not for the impatient but very well worth the advantages of brush not scratching up your jeep specially off road.... and the great thing is you can't see it ......I applied to my front and doors and also threw on a bug shield for the highway commute but the clearmask is great.

I had some of the Avery clear film installed and it really helps to prevent rock chips and scratches. It can still be scratched but you can hardly see them. A little wax and the scratches disappear.

On second note, does the plastic bug guard help with high speed windnoise coming off of the top of the windshield?

I just had 3M film applied, and the great thing is that at Trim Line they wrapped the edges. Only $135 for a 6" strip across the front of the hood and the fenders.

You may find that the bugflector does NOT work for deflecting bugs. People all over this board will tell you that. I'm waiting for one that does. My most recent catalog from Quad or 4wd has a NEW one if I'm not mistaken.

It's basically for looks, and to keep rocks from chipping the paint on the edge of the hood....but mainly for looks.

What's the last thing that goes through a bug's mind when he hits the windshield?

... his ass.
