I have compiled a list in hopes that you guys/girls could give me some feedback.
It will be not be driven daily, but most likely as I love the vehicle.

Aev gives you extended links, and he has a rubicon so he doesnt need to disconnect.

Are you sure you really want to go with 5.13's with the 2012? With 35's your gearing is right on the money with the 12. I mean, that gearing is high for a 38' tire.

None of these are set in stone. I'm still learning as fast as I can.
I didn't realize the 2011-2012 gearing charts were different.
Thanks for that info.

Also I have no plans for the driveshafts.
I'm open for any suggestions.

Thanks!

You shouldn't have to swap out the shafts with the 3.5, im almost certain the aev lift your looking at is a mid-arm lift. Once my 2012 comes in I'm going with the 5.5 rock krawler lift.

My vote on the shafts is drive'em till they die.

And I'm not trying to be hard on ya, I didn't mean to sound rude if I did

Didn't sound rude at all. I'm just glad for the help.
You just saved me $500+ by not having to re-gear!

You have a big list there and it looks good. I would recommend to think real hard on the tire size. Most start with 35s and quickly want 37s. I'm in that boat. But, you would have to be very careful with the front 44. Some c gussets would be in order and a easy foot on the gas offroad. Guys, are the 2012s diferent as far as the front drive shaft rubbing with a 3"+ lift. The 07-11s will rub with a stock front d/s and 3"+ (when you droop the axle offroad). May want to look into that. And last, are you auto or stick? Many say 5.13s are too steep for 35s, maybe they are a little for the highway, but around town I think they are perfect (this is what I have---when I get my 37s it will be perfect). This is on my manual 07. Compare the gear charts, but I think you are on the right track if you think you will go 37s later on. Good luck, and you will have a very nice setup when it's all done.

The exhaust has been re-routed on the 2012's and from what I know it will require modification if you don't want rubbing. Personally I would much rather do a cheap mod on my exhaust and stick with oem shafts than replace the whole shaft and possibly void your warranty. Remember that the new engine has a different gearing chart. Lol
