Default Bump steer? New here and need some help!

[h=2]I purchased my 2008 rubicon with a few things already installed from the previous owner but I am in the process of changing some things for better ride quality and control. The lift is about 3.5" on 35" tires, it was all over the place and I recently changed out the tie rods, drag link, and upper and lower ball joints with MOOG problem solver parts. I had gotten an alignment my caster is super low about 2.4. I added a front adjustable rubicon express track bar and I have the RE control arm drop brackets but have yet to install them. I'm still getting pulled a bit left and right on uneven roads and not so great on the hwy over 60 mph, should the brackets help a lot? Should I get an axel side front track bar bracket as well, its not parallel with the link. Thanks[/h]

The control arm brackets will help a lot with the low caster / flighty steering.

For the bumpsteer, you want the trackbar and draglink to be roughly parallel to each other. If I read it right, they currently are not? So look to see if you have a drop pitman installed and/or trackbar bracket at the frame end? The drop pitman and frame side trackbar bracket work together, you want both installed, or neither installed.

If you want an axle side trackbar bracket, look into a flip/high steer. (this is instead of the drop pitman and frame trackbar bracket)

Yeah I don't see any modification to the pitman arm and the track bar is in the stock mounting positions, they seem to from more
of a slight X on the axle side more than parallel. Not sure if that's normal

Take a pic from straight on, and wide enough that you can see both ends of both bars in the shot. Then open it in paint or whatever editor and draw straight lines from mounting hole to mounting hole on each. Easy way to see how parallel they are, rather than guessing with the bent bars.
