Not uncommon. You'll find a few write-ups with pics down in the write-ups area. Pull the cap off, chop off an inch or two, put the cap back on, go enjoy.

I have a 4 inch tera and used two hockey pucks for each side in the front. Since I ref and play hockey it adds a personal touch too!
