Default bumper weight

Hey guys, I have a 2010 JKU. I am waiting to lift it so I can invest in a good kit but the biggest stopper is the jeep dealerships in my area are anti lift. I am looking at getting 32s but I have seen people say that adding a front bumper will drop your front? Is anyone running 32s on a stock lift with an aftermarket bumper? I won't be going past 32s even with the lift.

The tire on a 10 are 32 inch. Just a front bumper with no winch will only drop a little bit 1/4 at most.

I recently took off my stock 17" wheels with 255/75/17 (also the stock tires). I measured the height of them with a tape and the were 32" tall.

I am now running new 16" rims with 285/75/16 Duratracs. They are almost 33" and they do not rub at all.

Hope this helps.

As for the bumpers, I have heard (no actual experience) that the heavy ones will drop the front end approximately 1/2 inch. I can't imagine that causing to much of a problem. I am sure there are others here that have actual experience and will chime in shortly to confirm or correct my comments.

Good luck.

I have 225/75/16 on mine. Bought it used and I don't know if they had a different set when they bought it. The TPMS isn't working so I assume these aren't the originals.

I'm running 35s with a PSC bumper and a winch on stock suspension. I did cut my fenders but I'm sure you have nothing to worry about.

I was thinking I would be fine. I didn't want to invest in a bumper and it lowers the front too much. Is it asking too much to get a small winch on there too? My jeep is sadly a mall crawler but we do a lot of camping/backpacking and a winch is a nice safety net option i'd like to invest in.

The price of those fenders hurt. I hope I find a lift friendly dealership. I'm keeping my stock set and might move up to 33s with a lift and just swap out wheels if I need to use my warranty.

You could put a 1/2-1" spacer puck on top of your front coils to bring the front back up.
