Default Bushwacker flat flares

Just got mine today. To install on the weekend. Just wondering anyone with these, have you reinstalled the inner flares or go with out. This is a option. Does it look ok without the inners. Pics would be nice . Thanks

I don't have them, but I chopped my fenders. I kept my liners on, but I had to cut them so they didn't stick out and look awkward. You may have to cut them for the Bushwacker flares too....I'm sure someone else will chime in soon though and let you know for sure.

Nice fender chop on your album. You need to do the rears too

I too am installing a set on Sat and I will be using the liners, it's worth the time and effort IMHO. My biggest question is WHO if ANYONE has or had not waited the recomended 24hours to let the edge trim stick before driving?

You mean you have to wait. I drive my jeep every day. I can't go without driving it every day. I am hooked like a bad drug. It is an obsession. hahaha

I drove mine right away but I didn't wash it for about 2 days to allow the adhesive to cure up. I do recommend to loosely fit all the mounting brackets together before you tighten all the stainless hardware, it will allow your fender to attach allot easier. I think the instructions stated that you bolt each one individually but that doesn't work too well. Happy installing!

Did you have a problem with the bolts . some people complained they could not tighten them up all the way because of the nylon locker in the bolt. if so did you use like a drop of oil or something in it to lube it up a little

By the way I like your pics of yours on. looks real neat. The look I am going for. I am sure my tires will look small when the fenders are on but they will have to wait

No oil required for my install, my guess is that they were cross threading the hardware.
