Default Bushwacker Flats or Stay Stock w/ RK 2.5" lift & 33s

Okay guys/gals...truckaddons.com is having a sale right now on their Bushwacker flats $450 shipped then $50 rebate. My dilemma is I have the RK 2.5" Max Travel lift (which netted me 4" front/3.5" rear) and 285/70/17 Toyos...Would the flats look good with on my JK? Or would I look like I'm on roller skates again?

I don't plan on moving up to 35s because I don't want to regear...I plan on sticking with 33s. The tread on my 33s is low...will need new 33s by the end of the year.

Please give me y'alls advice everyone...remember mine's a 2door so it won't look as bad, but I want to make sure that the flats will look good on my ride.

Here's a pic of what my JK looks like now.

The tire will look like roller skates. Get the fenders and hold on to them until you get 37's!!'

I got all excited about the price and I noticed it was only for the two door. 4dr is still 575 . I have been thinking about this for a while now too because I want to get a 2.5in lift and the bushwackers. I am running 33's just like you for the same exact reasons. Good price for the 2dr...

I'd stay stock. flat fenders give the look of a 2" lift, so you'd look like you had a 4.5" lift with 33's. roller skates indeed.

I like the flat fender look. I intend to get them, but I also intend to get 35's.

Y'alls advice makes me think...when my 33s are ready to replace what if I went up to 305/70/17s. Would 305/70/17s look good with the flats? Would I need to regear from my 6spd manual 3.73s with 305/70/17 tires?

I'm running 315 70 17 on an unlimited 6 speed with 3.21 gears and superchip I am going to do new gears down the road but my power loss isn't that bad.

Thanks for letting me know. Switching to the 33s with the lift I don't feel any sluggishness with my 3.73s and manual...I was just wondering if anyone did with 305/70/17s.

I'm thinking 305/70/17s would look better with the flats. What's everybody's opinion on that?

It's something I definitely don't want to do now that's for sure. I think I'll stay stock & maybe further down the road (next tax refund season) I do some of these things I just mentioned.

For now, I think I'll just enjoy the new look my JK has right now.
