It's all personal choice. I think you'll find very few people that have experience with both. That being said, I really like the attachment system, and looks of my Bushwacker flats lol.

I have the xenons, but I like the way bushwhackers are finished in the fender well area. I might buy the bushwhackers next time.

Yeah I'm leaning towards the bushwackers. I was just wonder if anyone liked the xenon. Also how much more tire clearance do you get with these?

"better" is subjective but, having seen both in person, i think the bushwackers look way more factory, i like the fact that they don't sag and, they aren't as hard as the xenons. i have personally seen a xenon hit a rock really hard on the rubicon and, while it looked great after the fact, the body it was attached to didn't. the xenon ended up being so tough that it traslated all of the energy from the hit and put it right into the body of the jeep and damaged it.

Okay well then I would rather not damage my jeep body so I guess the bushwacker is the way to go.

Not necessarily. I have personally seen a Xenon fender hit a sharp rock and completely fold over itself, then just pop right back into place, whereas a stock fender or a Bushwacker would have cracked and broken. The Xenon's are made of a urethane, which flexes a lot more than the plastic of the Bushwackers. Xenon has also provided braces for the newer flat fenders to keep them from sagging.

All of the above helped me decide in purchasing a set of narrow Xenon's for my JK. Can't wait to install them this weekend!!!

well, i guess we've all seen different things. i run bushwackers on my orange jk and cut factory fenders on my white jk and have hit both many times on the rocks and without getting any cracks or breaks or body damage

the xenons are nice but i have yet to see a full width set that hasn't sagged. also, as stated before, they are definitely super tough but, at least from what i have seen, too tough and i have personally seen where a direct side impact to one on a boulder caused body damage where a factory fender just got squashed. but, that's just what i have seen

because opinions are so subjective and based on personal experiences - mine is no exception. the best you can do is make an educated decision based on what you hear.
