I installed these last night and then drove it in the cold. I then put it in my heated garage. You will want to give it some time in the warmth for the adhesive to cure properly. I believe the adhesive trim Is part of what helps keep the fender in place and not just trim. . I can ply speak for the flat flares but the stainless hardware and pushpins are junk. I replaced them all after breaking a good percentage of them the first try. The clips dry out so leaving them in a plastic bag with water for a day or so will help you from breaking them. The stainless I would buy new but if your gonna use theirs don't forget the anti-sieze.

Thanks, I'll look at new hardware. I thought the temperature warning had more to do with the flares themselves (not the adhesive) cause they would crack when tightening up the bolts if too cold??

Leave them inside until you need to install, the temp thing is so you will not crack them during install.

Is it mainly because of clearance issues? Is it simply the "fad" right now? I was under the impression the pocket-style gives an extra 2". I'm curious what are the pros/cons to pocket-style and flat flares?
I have talk to quite a few people and the general response I get is the flat flares make the jeep look like it is lifted higher. I like the pocket flares on pre 06 wranglers not so much on the JK's.

I'm leaning towards flat, but not sure what brand now. I kinda like the new Rugged Ridge ones, Xenons, and the Bushwackers.
