Busted driveshaft !!! Help!!

OK...you guys are going to love this. After a two hour conversation
with the dealership tonight they finally admitted that they still don't know what exacly is wrong with my Jeep. THEY NEVER KNEW FOR CERTAIN THAT IT WAS THE DRIVE SHAFT TO BEGIN WITH. And now they want to hold on to it longer so they can look at other possibilities like the transmission and motor mounts and anything else they can think of. They took the pinion angle measurements for both the front and rear drive shafts and both are within the manufacturers tolerances. The front is right at the high end of the tolerance but they are both within specs.I did find out that they have reinstated my warranty....at least for the meantime until they can figure out what the problem is.
I gave them until Monday at 5:00 to tell me exactly what the problem is or I'm pulling it out of their dealership and taking it elsewhere. Is this too long or should I go get it ASAP?
They really make me nervous over there.
thye need your business the more warranty work they do the more they get paid but they also like to get paid by chrysler plus get paid by customer when you put up a big stink like i have a couple of times their attitudes change and they start doing some stuff normally the way it should be..

So I finally went Saturday and picked it up from the Lawrenceville dealership and took it to Stone Mountain, but not without a hole lot of hastle from the Lawrencevilee dealership that I don't even want to go into. They are looking everything over at Stone Mountain and we'll see what the deal is sometime this week.
Keep us posted. I heard the same bull from my dealership when I posed a hypothetical regarding installing a lift. He said it would automatically void my warranty. I said bull. I posed another question. Let's say I installed a lift, and my wipers go, you won't honor my warranty? The service guy says that well the lift could cause vibration and cause the damage so no. Double bull. And here's the killer, if I installed the Mopar lift and they do the install, my warranty would stay in tact. That's more bull than I can handle. A lift is a lift no mater what brand it is and would cause the same amount of drive angle and everything a lift potentially causes Mopar or other brand alike. So I hope you win for all of us and get your warranty. BTW, I ended up putting my 4" lift on my Jeep so I am def interested in seeing you succeed.

its Bullshit!
Same crap from my jeep dealer. Had to threaten a law suit to get my freakin seat fixed!
Our daily drivers are Toyotas, mainly because my local dealership is nothing short of AWESOME in the customer service department. The Toyota service techs are top-notch too.
I guess we buy jeeps because we love them; knowing from the start that after we drive off that lot with that new jeep we have crappy service and dealer techs that don't know their ass from a hole in the ground to deal with for the next few years. Its a jeep thing!

Stone Mountain Jeep ROCKS!!!
They just informed me that something inside the transfer case is defective and is causing the vibration. They have ordered a new transfer case, filed it under warranty and will install it on Monday when it comes in. I should be back in my rig free of charge come Tuesday!
WOOO HOOOO!

Now I would like to go tell Hayes where they can stick it but I'll refrain.
Thanks for everyones opinions and support. I'll let you know if anything else comes of the situation.
