C gussets AND sleeves???
Does mostly everyone AGREE that for a Dana30 up front it's best to sleeve and C gusset?
I'm looking at the EVO sleeve and gusset at Northridge4x4....
I want to do top and bottom C gussets for sure does anyone know time wise how many hrs it would take just to C gusset the top and bottom front axle???
And then maybe how many hrs to do BOTH sleeve and gusset for comparison sakes.
Thanks and anyone know if this EVO set is good? Thanks

Just did mine over the weekend (EVO Magnum 44, C2s and LCA Skids). The break down was like this:
Axle removal - 2 to 3 hours
Install - 4 hours
Axle re-install - 2 to 3 hours
The guy that helped me had recently done 2 other sleeve, gusset and LCA skid installs so we had a few shortcuts (the main one being drill the sleeve holes with the sleeves tack welded in place. This helps avoid shavings in the tube).
It is either a really long one day project or a nice 2 day weekender.

Do you think I can get away with just C's not sleeving? Or should I bite the bullet and do sleeves as well?

Make sure you only weld an inch or two at a time to keep from melting the plastic in the ball joints. Then switch to the other side and let it cool a bit. IMO the gussets are more important but you can do the sleeves later if you still feel it's necessary. The sleeves are more labor intensive although the Nitro sleeves require no drilling or welding.
