You guys are funny...

But say what you want about her. I helped her in the beginning. Doing installs for minor things, but then shed go wheeling over the weekend, damage stuff and then I was fixing it during the week.

She had no common sense and I had enough after doing this for over a month.

Plus, she don't pay crap for that jeep... Ex is footing the bill. I washed my hands of it and walked away months ago

A broke down Jeep is a sad Jeep no matter how it was done. A lot of conflicting information, he-said/she-said stuff. With any luck she'll learn from this and move on. At least learn to listen to spotters. We all weren't born master off-roaders. I don't do any rock crawling, but I hit wooded trails here in Alaska and most of them end in swamp. I'm constantly learning the limits of my abilities and my Jeep's abilities. Sometimes my winch's abilities. You will never see me at Jim's Creek unless I'm recovering someone I know and it's nowhere near the silt beds.

As much as I hate this saying, it is what it is. She has a bombed rear differential to deal with, a little hurt pride, and the loss of some help working on her Jeep.

Well seeing as how the video that you quoted is referring to a rock buggy that has been custom built to handle hardcore off road it doesn't compare to the situation that we are discussing, we're talking about a road worthy JK something that is a daily driver but still a fun machine on the weekend! It's like taking a bone stock ford pinto to the dragstrip and driving it like you would a top fuel rail car it's just not the same

that girl is an idiot, and crazy if shes going to hold someone accountable for free work done on her jeep..if she wants a warranty go to a shop. I'd tell her to learn how to drive and cut ties. those two vids tell you all you need to know about "whos fault it was"

Yep. I agree. Watched them all. It's a "damn the torpedoes....full speed ahead" style of driving. It usually only works in the movies.
What I saw didn't appear to be a talented driver. I saw a driver that didn't have confidence in the vehicle or terrain and probably was thinking about my quote above. Haha

Maybe she's related to "Cole Trickle" from Days of Thunder? She can drive anything, it's just that nobody can build her a vehicle capable enough to suit her driving style. Haha. She doesn't need a gas pedal. She needs a switch on the dash that is full throttle or off. Just a toggle switch. I know that I could get through those exact same passages with my stock '02 Rubicon. And realistically, it is probably much less capable than her Sahara. It is a "driving style thing". Too much go,go,go. Not enough mental acuity.

But then again. All I know is what I have read from here and watched on the little YouTube vids. Can't blame anybody about exploding parts in this case but the DRIVER.

Sent from the fast lane while driving one handed.

After watching the video's and looking at the picture of the broken carrier it is obvious she does not have lockers. With this being said after watching the video of her break I don't see any evidence that it is only in 2wd. At no point do I see a drive shaft hanging down below the rig like it just fell out.

Also the way she came down and landed is the exact reason for the breakage. When she slid back down she was still on the gas and stuffed the right rear corner. This also looked as if it was the drive wheel when she was trying to climb. Now because that wheel was rotating forward and then suddenly stopped something needed to give. Just so happens it was the carrier. At least that is how I see.

Plus everyone knows when wheeling things can and will happen. Something will eventually break and everyone needs to be prepared for that. The harder you wheel the more you break, that's how this hobby/sport goes.
