I have gone that far, and the gauge will read closer to 8 ish then. Drives good, but not with the vibes. The settings I mentioned work for my lift.
I'm not sure what you're saying here. You say the pinion is 3* then you say the flange is level, slightly down (zero or < zero). They both will be the same.

No. The length is a 'starting' measurement. After you install the new arms, check the caster. If it is too low, lengthen the arms some more and re-measure. If the caster is still too low, lengthen the arms again and re-measure.

There is NO one-size-fits-all magic number. Experiment until you have a pinion angle and a caster angle you can live with.

Exactly.. what I was trying to say is if u set them to what I have, u will most likely have less than 4 degrees caster because your taller than I am. U can adjust them as long as u can until u get driveshaft vibes. Once u figure out where that is u can avoid them.

End to end is not eye to eye.

I have heard some people replace the stock track bar bolts with 9/16 shouldered bolts since the r a little bigger yet still fit. Anyone try thus to cure Dw?

Update: It was the trackbar giving me all the problems. My JKS trackbar which was less than a year old went bad. David from Northridge hooked me up with a new one and Death wobble is gone. Went for a drive and hit the same spots that was sending me into DW hell for days and no problems at all. Thank you and again Northridge. Still have yet to put Clayton arms on to correct caster so that will make it ride nicer but had nothing to do with DW.

Thankfully I live in Cattaraugus County which is 3 hours West of Binghamton so no fears on Hurricanes. However, did feel the earthquake pretty good.
