Default Canoe on JK - Figured it out.

Finally figured out how to take our whitewater canoe on top of my JK.

Worked out very well, very stable. Using yakima gutter mounts on the front, yakima y-shaped canoe carrier in receiver hitch on the back.

Check it out...

"Whitewater canoe"... The last time I took my canoe out, I got a belly full of whitewater. Actually brown/green water but who`s counting . Nice rack though .

A canoe is a great looking accessory on a Jeep.

Interesting YJ set-up. Was that a solid arm upfront? Coming off of a receiver hitch?

Default gutter strength

How strong is the gutter on the front pannels? I don't think there is any metal in them.

I would be woried that they would break off. However most of the force will be on the front tow hook lines.

Make sure you don't use a rope that wil strech and put more preasure on the front gutter.

It does look great though.
