Default Caster angle help

installed 3.5" lift and getting ready to set caster, couple of items I need help with:

1. tires are 35" have not arrive yet, can I set the caster with stock wheels, drive it to tire shop and let them install tires or should I pick up the tires install them then set caster?

2. Do I set caster on each side? research isn't clear if I should only set one side and adjust the opposite arms to fit or do I set caster on one side, fit the arms then set caster on opposite side and fit the arms - confused!

Thanks for the help -

I see you went with Clayton (SWEET).
Do you have all 4 arms in front?

Set your caster for the lift height, before or after the new tires doesn't matter. You may want to adjust the Toe a bit for the new tires, but drive it first before messing with it.

Go down to the Write-Ups area. Stickied at the top, you will find an Index. In both the Steering and the Troubleshooting sections, there is a DIY Alignment writeup with all the info you will need.

The pinion moving up lowers caster
Pinion moving down raises caster

Front Upper ca's:
Lengthen to raise caster
Shorten to lower caster

Front Lower ca's:
Lengthen to lower caster
Shorten to raise caster

When you are rotating the pinion up you are decreasing the caster angle.
