WOL's writeup suggests 6-8 degrees positive caster, and I think that is about right. I have 5.5 degrees and it's a tiny bit flighty, but not more than it was stock, so I'm OK with it. The main trade-off is between more caster=more stable steering, and too much caster = front driveline vibrations. I hear that the stock driveline can take quite a lot of caster, but have no experience with that myself. The 5.5 on mine is smooth as glass.

As I have been fine tuning my 3" Teraflex lift, I went as high as 10 degrees (by accident - I had set it at 7 and it settled in its mounts once I took the jack out from under the pinion) which did create a decent amount of vibration right under your seat at highway speeds. I am now at 6 degrees and it seems a little flighty, but as you said, no more than stock. I could probably turn the lowers out one more turn and be perfect, but the steering is ok and I figure any thing that helps the driveshaft angle is a good thing.

Good information, thanks all,,

Are you running stock drive shafts? Is it possible to run 7-10 degrees with replacement shafts?

I am planning to go up from 4" to 6" and will be replacing the shafts, along with the lift.

I've had the flighty feeling since I installed the 4" lift and desperately want to get it right this time.

unfortunately, no. or, it would be difficult to do without some driveline vibes.
