Default cb location ideas

Can you guys post some pics of your cb location. (Dont post any above the radio please. Not a big fan of it there and I have a tuffy security thing there for the head unit) do they make any units where you can run the walkie from the back and route it to a different spot in your rig?

I am looking at getting the Midland 75-822. It is self contained into the handset. Just hook up a 12 volt and an antenna. I dont think it is necessary to have a huge cb for trail riding with friends. Here is a picture may not be what your looking for but its worth a glance.

I have something similar to Dahmer in a Cobra 75.

I didn't want a permanently mounted cb, so I use the Midland 75-822. It works well on the trails and I just remove it when I'm not off-roading. You can use it with an external antenna, or the attached antenna shown in the pic that has decent reception up to about 1/4 mile or so, which is ok for a small jeep group.

I use the Die-Tech dash mount. It has connectors for both a belt clip that the Midland uses, or a standard CB mic.

I mounted mine using shelf bracket and some steel i had laying around i love it. Out of the way and the freedom top holds it down, for when its off i have bolts and wing nuts to hold it in place. Also holds my mag lite and a neomagnet to holt my mic on the bar

Hooked mine above the rear view with about $10 in parts from HD. Works great.
