Default centerforce clutch!

hi all. so along with many others i have the squeaky clutch/ throwout bearing/ pilot bearing noise. been waitin for stealer to get the back ordered tsb clutch for about two months. actually named my jeep squeak and have come to accept it and not even notice it. but its freggin annoying! mine started squeakin after a puddle mishap in obx which led to having to be pulled out and had 6inches of water in floor with about 1900 on clock!! STUPID! so anyway i got a snap/ creak with clutch pedal movement now which is the pressure plate fingers along with squeak that goes away with about 1in of pedal movement.... anyway am i wastin time wit factory clutch set up?!?!? anyone have the clutchmasters or any other aftermarket assembly installed with miles on it?? i need opinions.... cause everyone has some sort of input. THANKS IN ADVANCE!!

I installed a centerforce dual friction clutch recently after sinking mine in very thick Texas mud and have about a 1,000 miles on it so far. One thing I definitely have noticed is an extra rattle especially in 5th and 6th gear that disappears immediately if the clutch peddle is depressed at all. I noticed the rattle just in handling the clutch after I took it out of the box so I am pretty certain it is the fingers just being loose without a constant pressure applied, but I am just guessing on that. I don't notice it much with the top off due to wind noise, but with it on and no radio it is definitely there. Feel wise I don't notice anything different compared to the old clutch, but I don't tend to lay on the gas etc to notice the marginal gains you would have performance wise.

I will say that this job was not fun to do, but saved myself about a $1000 over what the dealer wanted for parts and labor by doing it myself.
