Default chalk test

set up:stock 17" rims with Toyo Open Country M/T's 35/12.5 17
PSI: 35
chalked the front and back... looks like there is about a .5 to 1" of chalk on the outside tread

should i drop pressure??? or is this about right since they are on stock rims and they buldge

I would drop it to about 30 and see what that gives you.

yep just dropped to 30 and it looks better..... these cost way to much to be wearing them wrong..lol

Not ok! You want the most even wear across the profile. Lower your pressure by about 3 PSI and repeat the test until you get it right.

You missed the boat there, he already lowered the pressure and did the test again. Way to read the whole thread.

You may even try to go a little lower. Mine wear and ride better around 27-28
