Default Changing Gears

Have recently put on my 35's. I was next planing to upgrade my suspension...currently have a 4" Rough Country Lift. However, I'm thinking I should get into changing my gears before I change suspensions.
Any ideas? and advice on what gears to go with?

If you're running a 4" kit and are planning on going bigger, I'm assuming you're going to run larger tires in the future, 37s perhaps. If that is the case, I would go with 5.13s at the very least, maybe 5.38s. Just depends on what size tire you will be running in the long run.

Auto with a D30 up front? 5.38's would give better performance, but from a strength perspective, 5.13's would probably be the better choice.

I'm most likely gonna stick with the 35's... It is an auto with a D30 front. Seems like 5.13 is the choice amongst everyone... Looks like I'll be saving up some $$$$ for another project!

Didn't think you could put 5.38's in a Dana 30

They are new. Richmond released them not all that long ago.

Had 5.13's installed this week. 35's, 6 speed which had stock 3.21's....

BEST thing ever done to the JK can't believe I suffered through a year with the 3.21's. Absolutely no comparison. I haven't used 6th gear in a long time and 5th occasionally. Now I use them all. Very happy with the swap.

I've had 35" MTs, a 6 speed and 3.21s for over three years now. I want to install 4.88s very badly.
