Default Cheap Swaybar Discos

Has anyone ever done this:

http://www.4x4xplor.com/homediscos.html

I went out today an bought all the stuff...I am just a little apprehensive. This vehicle is still mainly a daily driver. I was thinking that I would wait till a weekend I am going out and put them in, and keep the original bolts handy just in case...

Any words of wisdom out there?

LOL!! That's the old home made swaybar disco write-up I did for my TJ

While I have no doubts that this will work and work well, I would just caution you to check the hardware for wear periodically as mentioned.

That's not a bad idea... could it work for the rear as well?

That's probably not a bad idea. Just change to the pins the night before you go wheelin' Change back when you get home. That way you can disconnect easy on the trail but don't have to worry about daily driver wear. Then decide as you go what other option you may want to take.

I just posted this the other day for the same idea and posted a great pic of how to pin them up once they're disconected

I really like ways design. When I do it, I will weld the washer to the head of the pin, and never have to worry about it wearing the head off of the pin.
