Default Check List

I know there is a million posts on this kind of stuff but i really want to make sure im going in the right direction. very new to jeep's and lifts etc. this is what im thinking about doing, all comments and suggestions are welcome.

-Teraflex 2.5" coil lift with shocks
-Procomp 7005 rims (17x8)
-Cant choose between km2/mt/r.(35x12.50x17)
-3/4" coil spacers.

60% road ( still a DD) most off road is dirtroads, MUD, not so much the huge rock climbing i see on here olny mild rocks. any input on better tires or choice of parts would help i have a 2009 2dr 6spd x btw thanks for all the help in advance .

It would be a good setup in my opinion. I run something similar and have been happy. If you do mud I would definitely consider a winch and recovery gear.

do you have much rub at flex?

and my bro used firestone destination mt's on his 2500 and loves them, any one here use them? any good?

Sounds good. I highly recommend 5.13s with 35s and auto. I had the same problem deciding b/w km2's and mtrk's. Went with the mtrk's because of the tougher sidewalls. I am extremely happy with them.

I got rid of the bumper that came with it so that got rid of where most people have problems. I am also going to trim my fenders this weekend to ensure I don't have problems.

I would be careful adding anything on top of the 2.5" since youre going to net about 3" anyway...just check your ds boot once in awhile to be safe. I know you said you dont disconnect and flex much, but it could still cause problems eventually.

What he said. I don't think you'll need anything unless you have some
significant rake because of the weight of your other gear. If nothing
else, hold off on those spacers until you get everything else together
and see whether you really still need them or not (and if you do, what
size you really need).

Remember: More lift drives the need for other mod's, and that TF
2.5" coil kit already gives about 1/2 to 1" extra (which you lose when
you weigh it down with gear, I guess).

TF coils are tall. On a light 2door, you may be closer to 4" than to 3". If you are adding spacers on top, be sure to browse the relevant sections of the faq's.

Q: What are all the components that I will need with a 3" lift?
Q: What are all the components that I will need with a 4" lift?
(pay attention to the driveshaft cautions...)

And definitely this one:
Q: What is Caster? How much do I need?

(not that you will need any/all of the components, but it's good to be aware of them just in case...)

You really don't need the spacers on top of the coil lift. Also, if you will be doing a lot of snow driving, check out the Goodyear Duratracs.
