Default Clayton Owners: Your Opinions Wanted.

Hi all,

So, I'm picking up my Rubicon 4dr JK tomorrow (IF the dealer does me right on price and trade in) and am looking at the Clayton 4.5. I really have yet to see anything bad posted here and want to get all the Clayton owners on one post to offer your opinions on the product, including the 3.5. Try to go into a bit of detail, mainly why you chose Clayton over the other brands. Also, if you could add your milage on the lift (not MPG, but land traveled).

Thanks!

-Derek

I would also like to hear opinions from anyone who has either the 3.5 or 4.5. If you also have the optional Walker Evans remote reservoir shocks, please post opinions of those too!

I dont have ther whole lift, but I have their lower front arms and I plan on buying the rear set too once I have the extra dough. The bottom line for me was their " break it, replace it " warranty on thier arms. And the fact that they ALWAYS got back to me quickly when I contacted them with a question was a big selling point.

The deciding factor for me was between the service and the reputation. I wanted a complete kit, so I didn't even consider some kits. I spoke with Adam at Clayton Offroad for over 40 minutes one day, and he had great answers but most of all he didn't make it seem like he had anything better to do -- which I'm sure he did.

I've only had the lift for about a week and so far so good. I have an unidentified noise that I heard twice offroad and an ESP BAS problem, but I don't think either have anything to do with the quality of the lift. I was really, really happy with how it performed offroad and I've been pleased with it on the road too.

Thanks tgrt,

I hope you keep us updated with how things continue with the lift.

One of the key factors in the decision for my was Adam's accessibility and his willingness to talk with his customers.
Looks great, I love your setup!
