no, i haven't cut the rock rails yet. is this the only solution. seems like a bit of a hack job to advertise a lift that clears 35's, but requires taking a sawzall to a few places?
I think no matter what lift you get you need to cut the rails if you go to 35's or higher, the rails stick out too much into the wheel well and I don't think any lift will move your axle (or shouldn't move it) so far back so that the tire doesn't rub the rail (not an expert so correct me if I'm wrong).

i guess i know what i'll be doing this weekend then. still a little worried about it rubbing the inside of the fenders though. i use the bump stops that RE gave me, I would have thought these would have taken care of the problem. maybe i just wheel harder than everybody else!! Ha. We were running some pretty good trails though, headed out to moab for thanksgiving and ran moab rim, metal masher and a few others.

Never had to cut the rails on 35s with a 2.5" lift nor with my current leveling kit. A lift won't move the axle back, but upper and lower CAs will. You will also need wedges or coil relocation brackets to fix the coils from bowing.

Forgive me but wouldnt that only affect the lifted portion of the stance, when you articulate, compressing the spring does the axle not swing with the radius movement of the control arm back to the stock posion pushing that side back to originial, just a question, I have a 4 door with 35s, had a 4 inch went to a 2.5, and at full tuck I do not hit the pinch seam, but I did ditch the factory rails and have tubes though.

After wheeling, it is obvious that I have rubbed not only the rockrails, but the inside of the fenders as well. Seems as if I could just scoot the rear axle back a bit, I would be ok, but I only have adj lower arms, so what are my options?
I have this same lift and the same rubi rails with only a little rub at the back where that plastic piece hangs down behind the tire. If that piece was gone, which it will be when I get my new rear bumper I wouldn't rub at all. Maybe those spacers are making your wheels stick out too far. I am running the procomp wheels instead of spacers. I ran rubi takeoff wheels and tires for awhile and they rubbed when at full flex in the front, since changing to the procomps nothing in the front.

I don't know how the wheels would affect how far forward the wheels are. Right now it looks like i am only rubbing that little plastic piece, but I am definitely rubbign the inside of the of the fenders as well. Before I put the spacers on though, my wheels were rubbing on the bolts for the extended sway bar links in the back. I don't think that they are sticking out too far, but again, not sure how that would affect up and down travel?
