Default Clearing 37's

I have a 3.0 lift that sags a tad because of my bumpers and winch and i currently have 35's that measure 33's. I was true 35's, but figure i wont be happy unless i get 37's. Will running the Wrangler X with 4.88's be okay with 37's as far as not breaking the D30? Does any one have any 35's that measure 35 inches?

I just threw 37's on a procomp 4" lift with 1" spacers in it and I am going to need a body lift and some bumpstops or cut the fenders to flatties... My tires are 12.5 wide and I dont think I would have such a problem tucking them if I didnt go with pitbul rockers.. the side lugs are soo damn big these tires are way wider than my old procomp 12.5 wide

most companies tires do not measure advertised height.. these pitties do measure a full 37 but I think like bfg measures almost 36 so it just depends on what you want

Spring lift height does not directly matter. Springs don't keep your tires out of your flares and fenders, bumpstops do.

37s on the high pinion Dana 30 are fine if you don't lock it and if you run chromoly axle shafts. If you offroad with alot of wheel spin and/or lock your diff, the 30 won't cut it for long. I wouldn't even consider 37s on the 30 personally without chromoly shafts, C gussets, lower control arm weld-on skids, and either a truss or axle sleeves.

4.88s with a 6 speed and 37s would be bearable. Not so much with an automatic--even 5.13s with 37s and an automatic are not low enough.
Planman nailed it again. He has answered this questions numerious times.

I am running 37" Cooper STTs and they measure 36.25" with weight on them. 3.5" Rock Krawler lift and Bushwacker flat fenders. D30 up front, Teraflex gussets and 5.13 gears. The 5.13 are dooable but couldnt get 5.38 for the D30 at the time (maybe you can now ). I didnt put chromoly shafts in because I am planning a axle swap in the near future and didnt want to sink the money into a D30. The gussets are an absolute must, even with the D44 on 37's. Just letting the Jeep down from the jack you can see the front tires slightly leaning inward at the top.

Only other thing I didnt see on Planman's explanation is that you will have to cut or bend the rear pinch seam with 37's. I just beat the hell out it.
