Clover Patch Window Roll - Bar Inside or Not?

Clover Patch Window Roll - Bar Inside or Not?
I just picked up a used clover patch window roll dealy. should I be putting the bar inside or separating the window from the rear bar? What do you do?

You can do it either way. I leave the bar on the Jeep though. Although not a security measure it blocks an inch or two of opening when the top is down so that people cannot look in the gate area.
