Coil removal
well see the thing is that i am removing TF 2.5in coils and installing a inch big spacer. when i installed them previously i used a coil compressor but it was a older tool and took awhile. ive used the compressor in the past so i am familiar with them but was wondering if theres a better and newer version of the comprssor to make the job easier.
if i do all the things above to drop the axle lower to put the springs in, even with a 2.5in coil then adding a one inch spacer, u guys dont think i need a compressor?

Get a spring compressor, It suscks if you dont have it and need it. They are available for rent FREE from Autozone. You just need a credit card deposit. They are not dangerous if used properly. It will make life easier when replacing the springs (prob not needed for removal).
I'll be putting in my new rear springs next week sometime and may just go to Autozone and rent some. Do they compress enough that i wouldn't have to unbolt everything? Maybe just unbolt the rear shocks and jack the back of the Jeep up?
And you will still have to losing up some bolts to get the axle to flex a bit more for the install. The rear is much easier to do then the front.
