Default Coilover question

Alright i'm new to the world of coilovers and im about to take the leap. Is it possible/safe to run just a front set of coilovers for a few months until i learn to shit money and buy a rear kit? I currently have 4"~ lift right now so as far as being level/correct-ish geometry i think i'll be fine for a while, with a 12" set of coilovers, until i get the rear set. Thanks for any inputs!

yep tons of people do it including myself. im running 12" kings with about 5 inches of lift in the rear. to be perfect i will need like a 6" teraflex spring.

Sweet, is that the rebel off road set up? Thats the one i was looking at. What kind of lift did it give you in the front? Do you think i'll need to upgrade to larger springs in the rear if I use 12" coilovers?

The front setup on the rebel kit is ok but the rear doesn't seem right to me. The way they mount the coil overs in the rear seems like they would get damaged really easy.

yes, there are lots of people who just run the front coil overs and something like evo enforcer coils in the rear. it's a nice setup but, you'll definitely be wanting something like an evo lever sooner than later.

yeh it is. i pushed the front out 2 inches.
the rear has about 5 inches of lift and i would like to get teraflex 6 inch springs in the rear.
im probably going to get the clayton long arm because it is a full like long arm and i like the radius arm front.
the rear i will porbably go with the ORE cantilever system because it really is the best option for the rear.
in the front i think the rebel offroad kit is fine and works great. i think ORE is great but also very biased for this forum
