Default coilover vs struts

Tell me why i should put a coilovers on my jeep instead of a 14 or 16in struts is there any pros and cons to the two it looks like the struts are easier to adjust and i wouldnt have to run bump stops or sway bars..win win

You have to run sway bars and bump stops on both set ups. Coilovers are more tunable than regular shock and spring set ups. Unless your building something big and crazy I don't really see a NEED for coilovers. That being said there are plenty of people that do run coilovers on a daily driver because it looks cool, they can tune it to their liking, they want the control offroad, etc.

Here is my insight only for the coil overs...coil overs are the way to go if you want to fine-tune a suspension in, you could easily interchange spring rates and spring lengths yourself, they're rebuildable so it should be the last shocks you purchase. Also, coilovers could bolt in or be welded to the frame of the Jeep without too much body modifications. Coil overs allow you to stay low, I have adjusted mine to 3.5"

As far as performance, the coilovers ride very smooth, very stable in off camber situations, smoothness is consistent due to reservoir tanks, great for daily driving I can do 70+ mph on long highway curves with expansion joints and dont bounce / weave all over the road.

Ori struts are good up to 6000 lb so a fully loaded jku would have to run a dual setup which would get very pricey and would require alot of fab work i'm sure. They do perform awesome. I saw some on a yota and the flex was insane.
