I went with the AEM one cause of the dry filter system and the polished tube. I have a custom flowmaster exhaust and ended up with noticeably more torque and a tiny bit better gas mileage if I drive right (a lot less gas mileage if I drive lead foot). It had a very faint whistle at around the 3000 rpm mark but was hardly noticeable even with the top off and magically went away when I put a throttle body spacer on.
have had an airaid CAI and TB spacer on my JK for quite awhile, made a very noticable difference, stock the mini van engine had nothing below 2500rpm,big difference after changing intake, very happy with it(yes it has the whistle but does not bother me)
one thing to consider when choosing brand is construction,in theory a cold air intake with metal piping will deliver warmer charge air to the engine than one with plastic(is it enough of a difference to notice?)
